Vision's 2017 Recap
As Vision Hospitality Group embarks upon this New Year, the team celebrates the many achievements attained in 2017. In this past year, Vision excelled in development, management, and cultural enrichment. The team also reached several milestones in which they extend their gratitude to the communities, partners, and guests that encouraged such success.
In 2017, Vision welcomed three new hotels to their growing portfolio, which is now boasting 34 premium properties. They expanded their footprint into the Wilmington, NC market with the opening of the Hampton Inn by Hilton Wilmington/Downtown. Their presence also grew in the Metro-Atlanta area with the opening of the Tru by Hilton Atlanta/McDonough, the brand’s second grand opening. The Moxy Denver/Cherry Creek was the latest addition and a monumental project for the team. The hotel is the first lifestyle brand managed by Vision, and it is the first purpose-built Moxy in the United States.
This past year marked the company’s 20th anniversary, which is a testament to the dedication and hard work produced by the Vision family. To celebrate such an achievement, Vision completed the inaugural “True Blue Week”, a week dedicated to community service. A total of 2,000 company-wide hours were dedicated to volunteering, mentoring and giving back to the communities that have welcomed Vision across the country. The team partnered with over 30 non-profit organizations in five states which included Global Soap Project, the American Red Cross, Books for Africa, Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation and the St. Jude’s Rock n’ Roll Marathon.
As the company continues to make strides towards their vision to be the best, most respected hotel company in America, they have experienced instrumental growth. In 2017, several new members were welcomed to the Executive Team, and several other outstanding individuals joined the Vision family as General Managers.
